ANNUAL EVENTS
The Park celebrates Family Fun Day at the end of the school year. The event begins with a parade down Shore Road to the park entrance. There are various activities sponsored by local groups, a concert, and a fireworks display to conclude the festivities.
Sounds by the Sea is a six-week summer concert series that starts on the second Monday of July. The bands begin performing at 6:00 pm at either the picnic shelter or the bandstand. Grab a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy the music with family and friends while listening to the sounds of the sea.
The 10K road race "Beach to Beacon" is held every year on the first Saturday of August. The race starts at Crescent Beach and ends at Portland Head Light. Over 6,500 participants join the race.
