The park is an ideal location for hosting a wide range of events, including company gatherings, family reunions, field trips, birthdays, weddings, and scouting activities.
If your gathering has more than 20 people, you will need to obtain a permit. For gatherings of fewer than 20, securing a permit is the only way to reserve a location. Groups of fewer than 75 people may gather in any area of the park other than those available for rent. Groups of over 75 and up to 150 must receive prior approval from the Visitor Services Supervisor. Groups exceeding 150 must receive prior approval from the Community Services and Fort Williams Park Director, which can take up to 90 days.
Fort Williams Park requires visitors to carry out their trash, as there are no waste bins available. The use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs is prohibited on park grounds.
Site rentals do not include parking; therefore, you may want to share parking information from our site with your guests.
Please keep in mind that the park is open to the public, and while your location is reserved, the areas around and near you may be in use.
Reservations for the upcoming year may be made beginning December 1 for residents and January 1 for non-residents.
